Planetarium Info
Our planetarium is an inflatable dome set up in the Earth and Space Lab (north room) at Cognition using a powerful all-new digital interactive system. This provides a wildly engaging 360 degree “in-the-round” experience for a variety of immersive adventures! It is available at COGNiTiON during set periods each month (see the calendar below). In the off weeks, the planetarium is utilized for off-site field trips as our “Mobile Planetarium Lab”; see more information at the bottom of this page!
*Our planetarium is handicap accessible; please notify us in advance so we can make preparations!

Tickets & Pricing
🎟️ Planetarium Tickets are a $5 add-on per-person (over 2 years old), and are an additional cost after daily admission or membership. Tickets may be purchased in-center. There is limited seating for each show, so please let us know in advance if you’re bringing a large group! Note: young guests must be accompanied by an adult in the Planetarium.

Passport Program
The young Earth & Space Lab Planetarium participants are invited to pick up a FREE Passport Book! Each week they attend, kids will receive a cool space stamp in their book corresponding to the subject they explored. (We can keep Passports here for safekeeping, or you are welcome to take them home).
Save with Punchards!
When you know that you will be back to the planetarium soon, or that you come with lots of family members, plan ahead and save some dollars! This week we will have Punchcards for purchase: Galaxy Card for 16 shows for $64 (20% savings) or the Solar System Card for 8 shows for $34 (15% savings).
(Remember that the Planetarium is an add-on, so Admission will also be charged upon arrival, unless you have a membership)
Our Planetarium is Mobile!
