The Planetarium Team

Jensine Eichermueller, Planetarium Director — With a degree in Astronomy from NMC and an infectious enthusiasm for space exploration, Jensine guides our guests on journeys through the cosmos with expertise and wonder. Originally from Bavaria, Germany, she relocated to Northern Michigan with her young son Orion (yes, really!) to share her passion for the stars with our community. Her engaging presentation style makes complex astronomical concepts accessible and exciting for learners of all ages.

Aaron Harris, Earth & Space Lab Designer — Aaron transformed COGNiTiON's vision for immersive learning into reality, designing and building both our innovative VR Lab and Planetarium programs from the ground up. A COGNiTiON team member since our earliest days and former board member, Aaron developed our Planetarium’s custom Space Engine presentations and educational curriculum that have inspired thousands of guests. While currently working with a space technology startup, he continues to provide program oversight and innovation, ensuring our Planetarium remains at the cutting edge of educational technology.

We would like to thank the women of Impact 100 TC for making this incredible addition to our center and community possible. This program would not exist without them. Thank you!
