Announcements:

  • Hi team!

  • MARK THE OPENING CLOSING CLIPBOARDI moved it to the animal station. Do not leave at leave until you have everything is done and marked and checked by one of them at shift change or closers. This is a tool so we don’t forget animals outside or leave bathrooms a mess etc. Don’t mark it if you didn’t do it. It is too hard for the morning crew to do everything, that is why it is divided to opening/closing duties.

    • Make sure to wipe down bathrooms at close and to check the little black garbage’s every day so they don’t get missed. (Sunday garbage bin by rd)

    • Floors can be swept in the mornings, but need stations reset and tidied in the evenings so the floors are ready to be swept.

  • Natalie is off right now so pleas defer to Evan or Ceri as taking lead for the weekend! That means they’re in charge out in the center, so if they ask you to do something, it really needs done.

  • Help people engage, if it’s busy, point out things that guests might overlook that would be fun. The Clixo toys in the Maker Space are a good example.

  • Weekend Specials: Saturday is making dye from Cranberries and stringing garland with cranberries and popcorn (and free popcorn to eat). Sunday is making Cranberry Sauce to taste and learning about the science of pectin. Please work as a team to offer these to guests if you can. Instructions are printed.
